After graduating in 1978, Barry worked in Wellington before moving back to Palmerston North in 1981 to join Fitzherbert Rowe’s parent firm Fitzherbert Abraham in 1981. He was appointed a partner in 1984.
Barry primarily works for rural and business clients, advising on sales, acquisitions, structures and contracts. He has a particular interest in subdivisions and regularly advises clients on subdivisions around the country.
Barry is a member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society and is a past convenor of the Standards Committee (Manawatu Branch).
